Hey Mountain of Infertility - the video

You guys!

I NEVER knew that when I wrote this blog post 2 years ago, that it would be turned into THIS!

After we found out we were pregnant, our very special friend Oleg approached me at church and said: “Bree! When I first read your post, this entire movie played in my head. I want to put your post to video! I know exactly where to film it and how to put it all together. Will you let me film it?”

I wouldn’t see this until this year - Easter morning when we dedicated our precious baby girl. Watching it play on the big screen in front of our church family who had all walked with us through the years we fought with infertility was so surreal. I bawled the entire time. Jonathan bawled. Our parents bawled. I held Eden on my lap and whispered to her: “This is your story, hunny.”

I can’t put to words what it’s like to have a video of your journey to becoming victorious over something like infertility. I’m forever, forever grateful for a friend who would do something so selfless and beautiful and powerful and thoughtful and amazing for us. He took time away from his wife and kids to film, create and produce this for us. How in the world did we get so lucky?
